No really, a house made from recycled rubbish!

This is a great idea and I hope these kind of ideas continue to be funded and provide a way of really reducing our waste and using it for really practical applications.

Welsh company, Affresol, have built a prototype low carbon house, built using extracted plastic from recycled rubbish.

I’m sure they’ll be loads of jokes about ‘your house being rubbish’ and ‘that place is a tip’…….  But remember, next time someone complains about a build up of rubbish in your garden, just tell them your building an extension, a low carbon extension at that!

Bus lanes!  What is it about them that people don’t understand or fail to read.  Now I know there are different signs at different bus lanes, but it isn’t really that difficult to understand them, is it?

Yesterday someone undertook me as I was trying to turn into the left lane once the bus lane had finished and then today (a Saturday, when the bus lane sign says it’s fine to use!) someone tries to cut me up because they think I’m in the wrong!

Now, it doesn’t matter whether you agree with bus lanes or not, personally they are a good idea if planned correctly but a bad idea implemented as an after thought on smaller roads, but it doesn’t take a genius to read a sign!

The worst part was the fact that I didn’t get chance to explain to the driver that I was allowed to use the bus lane at that time, so they’ve probably gone away and wrote a blog about people using bus lanes when they shouldn’t………

Actually, they didn’t look like they could use a keyboard, what with the ape sized hands I saw holding the wheel, so I think I’m safe from the blog abuse, I just might get a mention down the old mans pub when they get chance to have a whinge.
